Knitting Classes for Beginners and Advanced – Work on Your Own Project with Guidance from an Experienced Knitting Coach

If you don't speak Dutch, it's perfectly possible to participate during regular classes, because you'll get help in English. However, it might for some seem an obstacle to join in. For those who prefer being amongst other non-Dutch speakers, there's a class dedicated for English speakers.

So, have you always wanted to learn how to knit but don’t know where to start? Or are you already an experienced knitter looking for tips and support with your next ambitious project?
Join our knitting classes at Atelier Schoolstraat in Wassenaar!

For beginners:

• Learn how to choose the right materials to achieve your desired result
• Master the basic stitches step by step
• Discover how to read knitting patterns
• Start your first project right away

For advanced knitters:

• Continue working on your own knitting project with expert guidance
• Receive personal tips at your own skill level to learn new techniques
• Solve tricky patterns or mistakes together with the instructor
• Take your first steps in pattern adjustment and design

In a relaxed atmosphere, you work at your own pace. With endless patience and a good dose of humor, the knitting instructor will guide you through your work and show you just how much you’re capable of. There’s plenty of focused knitting going on, but also time for fun and good conversation.

Price and Schedule

Each course period lasts four weeks (weekly classes) or eight weeks (fortnight classes). During these four/eight weeks, you’ll attend your class on a fixed day.
If you miss a class, you can make it up within the same four or eight-week period, provided there’s space in another group (you can also join a regular 'Dutch'group, no problem).
Each class has a maximum of six participants.

The course is ongoing: unless you cancel (respecting the notice period), your participation will automatically be extended for another four or eight-week session.
